About Us

Coronation Public School is located in Oshawa, Ontario and serves students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.

Mission statement

The focus at Coronation is on success for all students in academic programs. We also focus on student self-esteem and character education. A school-wide emphasis on meeting Ontario curriculum expectations, providing innovative instructional strategies, and comprehensive assessment and evaluation policies ensure the success of our students. Particular programs include 5 A's Assemblies (Academics, Athletics, Arts, Attitude and Allyship), Safe Schools initiatives, Social Justice and a wide variety of sports and clubs. Welcome to Coronation Public School

We want to welcome all families/caregivers to the Coronation Community.  We believe in high expectations for academics and behaviour built on respect, equity and inclusion.  We strive for a safe space where every student believes they can achieve their fullest potential.

We welcome any questions, comments and feedback through regular communication. Your child’s teacher is the first point of contact. Please say hello  when you see us at kiss and ride and supporting entry and exit in the morning and after school.
